About Our Horses for Sale
We enjoy developing horses potentials and abilities. We know we can’t be every horse’s very own person. We CAN prepare the horse and open doors to find that person!
We take our time with the horses we represent. We develop a rigorous foundation in each horse using classical dressage and natural horsemanship, establishing a solid base of trust, confidence, and problem-solving ability. We let their individual temperaments and talents help us guide them towards the specialties in which they’ll thrive.
Our horses are friendly, respectful and fun friends on the ground. Under saddle, our horses learn lightness, responsiveness and partnership. The result? An unforgettable ride!
We honestly represent the horses we offer for sale. Because most people’s relationship with their horses is a fairy-tale come true, we strive to create ‘happily-ever-afters!’
Imperial Vision – 2003 TB Gelding
Vision is a lovely, 2003, 16 hand bay TB gelding. He was too slow for the track and was retired in 2007. He had several years of let-down time as a pasture pet before he came here to find his next career.
Viz is a beautiful mover with a good brain and a kind heart. He is willing and obedient in a happy mouth snaffle. I used him in a couple of lessons this summer with an advanced student who immediately fell in love with him, and would have bought him had she not been entering her freshman year of college! He has clean legs, maintains a good hoof barefoot, and is up to date on worming, shots and dentistry. We are currently asking $1250.00.

Here is Viz’s recent introduction to related fences:
This is Viz’s first introduction to jumping, taken a few days after he arrived. We were thrilled with his rolling canter and easy rhythm, which has only improved with schooling!
Our working student fell in love with Viz on sight. This is maybe his third ride since coming out of retirement:
They moved on into the field without skipping a beat:
Drummer Boy – 2007 Pinto Friesian Percheron Cross Gelding

Let this extraordinary Pinto Friesian Percheron cross color your world! Drummer Boy is already around 16 hands at coming 4 years of age. He will have the size to impress and the substance to carry it soundly. His look-at-me color (complete with rare ink-spot markings) and flowing mane (carefully combed over for this conformation photo) complement his correct conformation and movement.
Drummer Boy has a quiet, sweet personality that make training sessions a true joy. His solid foundation includes natural horsemanship type groundwork, sacking out, longeing, and ground driving. Drummer Boy is currently priced at $4900 or best reasonable offer. He will be started under saddle next month, and his price will increase then.
Angus MacCloud – 2005 Thoroughbred Shire Sport Horse

We are absolutely crazy about Angus, our 6 year old, 16.1 hand Shire-TB! With his great mind, cloud-like gaits, and storybook look., what’s not to love!
Friends leased our TB Deva’s Delight, now known as Angel’s Gift. They bred her to the breathtaking registered Shire, Knutsford Edward. Thus came Angus into this world. When they found they couldn’t keep horses any longer, we joyfully welcomed him home!
Angus has the sweet personality and trainability of his mama, and his daddy’s power and charisma. His groundwork and long-lining are solid. He has been lightly started under saddle. Even before he was officially “started,” Angus came along for many of our off-the-farm adventures where he has learned to trailer quietly, to wait calmly, and to focus on his person though the chaos of the show grounds. This gorgeous youngster is becoming quite the worldly gentleman… and he never fails to attract an admiring crowd!
Angus is not currently in training (strictly due to personal reasons) and his price reflects this. $5500.
Everyone Loves Angus…even Argent the barncat!

Even as a youngster, Angus was irresistable! In this photo I’d brought him in for a trim… and couldn’t resist hopping up on him for a bareback ride around the paddock.

Denya’s Wish – 2003 Reg. TB Mare For Sale
Wish has been off the track for several years, living a life of leisure in our pasture! She does her natural horsemanship groundwork like a champ, and is very light and sensitive to ride.
I had initially purchased Wish as a show hunter prospect. She is a very fancy mover! Wish’s bloodlines, which include greats such as Fappiano and Best Turn, suggest future success in sport horse disciplines.
Wish sustained a wire cut to the front of her right hind leg in 2007. We cared for it meticulously and it healed well, but did leave a scar. The vet says because it is on the front of her leg (rather than the back where all the support structures are) she should have no trouble with future strenuous riding and jumping.
Wish is our “Daddy’s Girl.” Mark is totally in love with her! However, at 6′ tall, he is too big for her. Any home is subject to his approval! We are currently asking $800.00.

**Newsflash**
The stars finally aligned and we got a little impromptu video of Wish! I joke because this fall it has seemed almost impossible to schedule a video shoot. Wish is not in anything resembling work- I basically pulled her in from the pasture. I was so proud of how calm and obedient she was. When you add impulsion her movement really shines, but this day I was going relaxation rather than brilliance. Mark was still setting up the camera when I got on, so I hopped off at the end and remounted to show how she stands quietly on a loose rein for mounting. (Note- since I broke my back I wear the back protector every ride- it’s no reflection on my expectations for Wish!)
Gideon: Fancy Pony Hunter Prospect
Gideon is smart, sensitive, and super fancy! At just under 14.2 with a warmblood look, Gideon is already turning heads in the pony hunters. Gideon is taking the “natural” road to the show ring and the results are impressive: Gideon captures Champion or Reserve Champion every time out.

Gideon is looking for a quiet, confident rider to take him to the next level.
Bold Step: 1995 16 hand bay registered TB gelding.
“Bold Step” 15 year old, 16 hand bay registered TB gelding. Thoughtful, athletic, sound and smart. Vetted clean including x-rays in 2004. He’s a lover in the barn, and quiet in the ring. He has the moves and the mind to excel in any discipline. Bold Step has impeccable form over fences! Always in the ribbons, Bold Step won Reserve Champion in the Children/Adult Hunter Division at his first outdoor show. Kind hearted, Bold Step is currently giving lessons, teaching the next generation of young equestrians.

FireStorm – 2001 RPSI cross mare
Stormy: 15.1 and growing, RPSI cross filly, 7 years. Chestnut with lots of chrome. Her personality is as flamboyant as her presence! Her grandsire is Starman, Anne Kursinski’s fabulous Olympic showjumper.

Stormy does the Parelli games, loads, bathes, etc. Stormy’s story reads like a fairytale. She is looking for the right person to live out her happily-ever-after!
